Might also be weird that some audio guys are writing a devlog for a sound library, that’s for you to decide. Our baby, currently with the placeholder name ‘SCENE’, is no normal library though. Field Recordings are my Pokemon Go

I’ve always had a dislike of foley recordings, especially in a studio setting. In fact, being completely honest, I don’t like recording full stop. So time consuming, so many takes, and all the comp’ing. ugh. Having worked as an engineer for musicians, recording was always the longest and most tedious stage of the process. Spatial Audio and Opera: The Old and the New

The French Aix-en-Provence Festival, held in the Grande Théâtre de Provence, is a summer festival that sees performances of classic operas along with bold new works in a bold and beautiful theatre space. It is a gem in the international operatic community and highlights that there is still a place for such a performance art in today’s world. Although, opera as an art-form is hardly on the lips of every young art-lover and not even necessarily a well-loved medium to theatre-go

Binaural Audio Beyond Sound Design: Music to Our Ears?

Binaural audio is a common term in the world of VR audio and spatial sound research, and has even sparked the rise of the Binaural Beats you may hear on YouTube, but could it one day break into popular music production? First off, what is binaural audio. Simply put, binaural is sound that works exclusively for headphone listening and aims to take the sounds played out of your head and place it into the world around you. This is all done by considering the filtering that occur
